science 2008 the hawke's bay council has been trying to get all the algae. How did the algae get in the river? the got in the because from farmers using fertilizer on the farms and Last year the waters in the havelock north and Hastings regions water were full of e coli and soooooooo many people got super sick,  this was because there were cracks in the water bores and the rains washed all the poop into the bores. 50 years ago (according to my teacher) the Tuki Tuki river was clean, clear and PERFECT for swimming, nowadays the Tuki Tuki is full of Algae. Algae grow when they have the right conditions such as adequate nutrients (mostly phosphorus but nitrogen is important too), light levels, pH, temperature, etc. Generally the amount of phosphorus controls the amount of algae found in a freshwater lake or water body. 

Since 2008 Hawke’s Bay Regional Council has been working on a range of plans and actions in the catchment to provide positive environmental, social, cultural and economic outcomes for the region, now and into the future.

Problem: The Get Ready Get Thru website says that we need an emergency survival kit and top of the list is a torch + spare batteries.

 So there I was walking to my new class at hni I was  year 7. Then I walked onto the courtyard outside room 11 Then I thort is this the courtyard that I will be looking at every day I come to school. bad look for hni.  I feel that you should assist us in giving this area a makeover that will be attractive to look at, as well as being a good use of space.

Now to get to the unsafe part of it. So there are tiles that are out of the ground and what do you think is under those tiles stones. The tiles that are out of the ground they are dandris we have already had some bad things go wrong with the tiles. Some of my fellow classmates like Lucian tripped over on tile that was out of the ground and got a graze.

First test all blacks vs Lions summary

It was All Blacks vs Lions they clash it out in a game of rugby. The game was played in Auckland at Eden park. The game was played on Saturday the 24th of June. It was close at the first half but the lions couldn't hold the All Blacks off. Cody Talley the Hoccer for the All blacks scored the first try of the game for the all blacks.

Monday mornings

Monday morning is about an adult that was described to be a kid here are some things that make him sound like he is a kid.
1. Josh miller wants to throw his alarm clock- That is not very mature.
2.  Eating chocolate in the morning-Not a very adult thing to do in the morning.
3.  He walks to school-Most adults drive.

At the end we find out he is a adult.

Mama mia pizza

For food tech this year the focus has been about making Mama mia pizza.Ben's and my Mama mia pizza was really fun to design because we thort on what design to do together so we were both contributing.

Vouchers have some of many things like when it will expire and where it is recommended and that is only some of the many things.  You can get different vouchers for different things.

 vouchers are good presents for birthdays and christmas. There are things called presecards they do the same things but it is just on a card.

For my home work I made a hurricanes t-shirt. It is made out of cardboard it has all of the details on it and if you are my size then you could probably wer it. to do put the colors on it I painted it. If you are thinking how am I going to put the t-shirt on well what I did was cut some holes in it the put some string through the holes.

house design/maths

For maths this week we have been doing house designs. It was hard at first because I did not understand it but when my amazing teacher Mr B sat with me and helped me in till I got it right so now I can do it. We had to measure composite shapes and triangles.
